TAOA is a non-profit organization. It
was founded
in 2002 with a current membership of close to 200. The aim of TAOA is
to promote and expand interest in orchid cultivation and to acquire
methods and skills.
1. TAOA
members
communicate
in Chinese and speak
Cantonese
2. TAOA focuses equally on orchids and
Chinese Cymbidium.
3. TAOA puts emphasis more on basic orchid
cultivation

Notice
to
all the participants taking part in the Photography Contest of the
Orchid show
2010
Due
to
unforeseeable circumstances, Mr. Ng Lik Fong, the chief judge of the
Judging
Panel has been away from Canada and would not return
until the end of May 2010. Accordingly
the assessment of the photo entries
of the Contest and the prize giving
would be delayed until further notice.
The Organizing Committee of the Orchid Show apologizes for
any
inconvenience caused.
